What personal information I collect about you

I collect information about you when you contact Gill East HAIR to enquire about services, book appointments, have a service, have an allergy test or sign up to any promotional content. This information can be collected online, on paper, by email or phone.

The information you give me may include your name, your address, your phone number, your email address and any relevant medical history for any chemical services you may have. All of your chemical services will be recorded and stored for future reference.

How your personal information will be used

This information is required so that I can locate you and provide the service you require. It also enables me to contact you regarding your appointment. Text message and emails are sent to remind you when your appointment is and also pass on information. This will only ever be used by myself.

I will not share your information with a third party unless required to do so by law. If you have consented to receive marketing, you can always opt out of this at any time. You have the right to request I stop contacting you at any time. If you no longer wish to be contacted please email gill@gilleast.com and request your removal.

How long your personal information be stored for

All of your personal information and chemical service record cards will be kept for 7 years from the date of your last service with me. If you have given consent for communication then you will receive it until you request removal.

Where your personal information is stored

Your information is stored online, on paper, on my mobile and on my desktop computer. Paper information is stored in a locked unit in my home and everything else is password protected.

Access to your personal information, correction and removal

You have the right to request a copy of the information that is held about you. To make sure your personal information is correct or if you’d like to remove anything, please request this by contacting me. For medical reasons chemical service records will be kept for 7 years. Photographs

With your permission, if you allow me to take photos of your hair, they may be used on this website or on my social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook. If you do not want your photos to be used then please inform me as soon as possible. All information is held by myself, owner of Gill East HAIR.
